Rodrygo's Frustration Grows, Does Not Want To Play For Real Madrid Again: Report

Tensions are on the rise with Rodrygo and Real Madrid with the Brazillian star reportedly not wanting to play for the club again.

Real Madrid’s Brazilian star, Rodrygo, is reportedly not pleased with his current position with the club. The reigning European champions have been far from their best despite bolstering their attack with the star French forward, Kylian Mbappe.

According to a report by Marca, the situation between the Brazilian and the club has gotten more tense as it is suggested that there were talks about leaving the club. But the pressing concern is that the winger does not want to play for the club again.

The report claims that media hype after the arrival of Jude Bellingham and Mbappe has resulted in the rift with his fellow countryman, Vinicius Jr. He is not pleased to have lost his prominence within the side after the arrival of the English and French internationals.

The report also mentions that Rodrygo has confined himself to his home in anger after having lost his relevance within the side and remains frustrated with the manager, Carlo Ancelotti counting on Bellingham, Vinicius and Mbappe, which has also seen a deterioration in his relationship with his teammates.

With Ancelotti set to leave the club to manage the Brazilian men’s national team and the arrival of Xabi Alonso expected, it remains to be seen if Rodrygo will be kept on the side or if the club will consider his sale.

He had 27 (18 goals, 9 assists) goal involvements in the previous season after playing 52 games. His output in the ongoing season is fairly similar, considering that he has 23 (13 goals, 10 assists) goal involvements in the 50 games played.

At this moment, Real Madrid are placed 2nd in the La Liga and will push on after the hammering defeat against rivals FC Barcelona despite Kylian Mbappe netting a hat-trick. Rodrygo was named on the bench but was not called upon despite the side trailing by a goal in the end.

Madrid have three more games left in the league stages, where they take on Mallorca at home, Sevilla away and a home game against Real Sociedad to close out the campaign. The side is currently trailing by seven points and would hope that Barcelona fumble their remaining games to stand a chance of winning the league title.
